The Three ESG Pillars

Our commitment to sustainability is built on three complementary dimensions: environmental protection, social responsibility towards people, and solid, transparent governance.

E

Environment

Reducing environmental impact through renewable energy, circular economy, and energy efficiency.

  • Optimization of waste management
  • Monitoring air quality and wastewater discharges
  • ISO 14001 certification extended to the Atessa site
G

Governance

A solid organizational model based on transparency, compliance, and risk management.

  • Organizational model for management and compliance
  • Code of Ethics and 231 Organizational Model
  • Constant monitoring of corporate KPIs

Energy, Climate, and Circularity

We invest in renewable sources and efficient production processes, constantly monitoring our progress toward a fully sustainable business model.

☀️ Photovoltaic panels

♻️ Eco-conscious culture

  • LED lighting in all plants
  • Paperless transition and priority for recycled paper
  • Circular packaging in product distribution
  • Single-use plastic reduction with filtered water dispensers
  • Break areas with separate waste collection, and lunch breaks with reusable utensils

Carbon Footprint – Head Office - Carrè

In 2025 we purchased 1,363 MWh from the grid and self-consumed 674 MWh (33% of the total consumed). For the portion from the grid, we purchased the equivalent "Guarantees of Origin" (GOs), so as to consume only electricity from renewable sources.

  • Natural gas for heating workspaces (>80%)
  • Diesel for generators
  • Fugitive emissions (technical gases for maintenance and PU blowing agent)
  • Diesel for transportation (± 12%)

"Compared to the 2022 baseline, we reduced our carbon footprint by 38% in 2025 (preliminary data)."

Circular economy

We send over 90% of our waste to recovery processes: plastic, paper, wood, nylon, metal and plastic containers, electronic components, leather.

We also monitor two new indicators: the Recycled Product Index and the Product Recyclability Index, to measure the sustainability of materials used throughout the entire product life cycle.

Water and waste

Our manufacturing processes do not require the use of water. The tank cooling system operates on a closed loop and is checked periodically to detect any leaks.

  • Monitoring water consumption relative to hours worked
  • Annual control of stormwater runoff from yards
  • Waste separation into 26 different types
  • Annual monitoring of emissions in compliance with permits

Supplier assessments

To qualify our suppliers, we use a dedicated questionnaire integrating sustainability criteria: policies on working conditions, human rights, health and safety, business ethics, and environmental management, with a score determining validity over time.
