Andrea Segala – Head of Railway project Management
1) What is your current occupation and role?
I’m Andrea Segala, and since September 2024, I have been the Head of Railway Project Management at Clerprem. I initially joined Clerprem as a Project Engineer for our automotive products before transitioning to our railway division as a Project Manager.
Now, as Head of Railway Project Management, I have the privilege of overseeing and coordinating all railway projects, ensuring they align with Clerprem’s strategic goals.
2) What challenges do you face every day?
Today, the railway industry demands shorter time-to-market, higher quality standards, and lower costs. The daily challenge I face is achieving all three simultaneously.
3) What inspired you to become an engineer?
I was inspired to become an engineer by my deep curiosity about how things work.
4) How do you balance work and personal life?
To maintain a healthy work-life balance, I set clear and realistic boundaries. This helps me keep my professional and personal lives separate, reduce stress, and enhance both my productivity and overall satisfaction.
