Art and Culture as Drivers of Change: Clerprem’s Art Installation for Gender Equality
At Clerprem, we believe that cultural change also starts in the workplace. For this reason, on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, we hosted a temporary art installation for gender equality inside our showroom, titled “Traces of Art, Women’s Voices”, transforming a corporate space into a place for reflection, listening, and awareness.
This initiative is part of a structured and consistent journey aligned with the values that have always guided Clerprem. In 2023, Clerprem obtained the Gender Equality Certification, a significant milestone that represents both the recognition of a long-established corporate culture and a starting point for increasingly concrete and targeted actions. With the Clerprem Art Installation, Art in the Workplace initiates Cultural Change.
From Certification to Concrete Actions
For Clerprem, gender equality is not an abstract concept, but a daily commitment expressed through awareness initiatives, training activities, and active employee involvement. The organization of this art installation focused on gender equality fits into this path as a targeted action aimed at encouraging deep reflection on a complex and urgent social issue: gender-based violence.
In recent years, Clerprem has complemented its corporate policies with cultural and educational initiatives, including theatrical activities dedicated to awareness-building, capable of fostering empathy and reflection through emotional language. Art, in all its forms, has proven to be an effective tool for addressing sensitive topics and encouraging authentic, shared dialogue.
Art as a Universal Language
Through this art installation—created in collaboration with women artists from the local area—Clerprem chose to use art as a powerful and evocative medium to support a cultural change that must begin from within the organization. The exhibited works tell stories, emotions, and diverse perspectives, offering viewers an experience of listening and introspection.
Open to company staff for one week, the exhibition is not conceived as a simple event, but as a journey: a space to pause, observe, and reflect, recognizing awareness as the first step toward meaningful change.
A Commitment That Continues
