We spoke with Gian Roberto Marchesi, CEO and President of the Clerprem Group, to gather his insights on the future of electric mobility and the company's pivotal role in this transformation.

Question 01

What are your thoughts on electric vehicles?

As CEO and President of Clerprem, I hold a strong conviction regarding the future of electric vehicles. Personal experience plays a role too: I drive an electric car myself, which not only reflects my commitment to sustainability but also gives me a first-hand understanding of both the benefits and the remaining challenges of this technology.

Electric vehicles represent a crucial step toward reducing carbon emissions within the automotive industry. This is not simply a passing trend; they are a transition technology that will pave the way toward an even more sustainable future. While we embrace electric mobility today, it is vital to keep researching and innovating toward transport solutions that are increasingly respectful of the environment.

Question 02

What is the future of public mobility?

The future of public mobility is bound for a significant transformation, driven by technological advancements, evolving consumer preferences, and a heightened focus on sustainability.

I believe that the integration of electric vehicles, autonomous technologies, and smart infrastructure will play a foundational role in building tomorrow's urban transport systems. We will likely see a shift toward more efficient and flexible public transit options: electric buses, shared mobility services, and electric trains.

"We are currently collaborating with key clients to define seating solutions for the first electric trains in both the USA and Europe."

Furthermore, the growth of data-driven transportation solutions will enable us to optimize routes and improve the overall efficiency of public transit networks. Ultimately, the future of public mobility will be defined by a more integrated, sustainable, and adaptive approach that puts the needs of both the community and the environment first.
