Hello, I am Alberto Vellar
How long have you been working at Clerprem? How has your career evolved?
I have been in Clerprem for 20 years, a career that started out as an operative in close contact with our products and then matured on the technical and development side. I now hold the position of Technical Sales Manager.
What do you do at the moment, how has your role changed over the years?
At the moment, I analyze customer requests for offers from both a technical and production point of view, I coordinate cost analysis with the purchasing department and management control. I conclude the process and support the sales department in formulating the offer.
What would you recommend to a young person aspiring to reach the position you currently hold?
It seems obvious to say hard work day after day, but this is the only way to get to know the product in detail in its strengths and try to overcome its weaknesses.
How do you balance the work-private life combo?
It is not always easy to take my mind off pending tasks, deadlines or work problems, but fortunately I live close to work and manage to carve out time for myself and my family.
What are you most passionate about in your work?
I am passionate about being on the front line, learning about innovations and how the market in which we operate is evolving.
For an engineer to be able to design/engineer a product and then see it being used daily by thousands of people is certainly a great satisfaction.
